As anyone that lives in the Burghs of Cove and Kilcreggan will know, the public park is in a state of disrepair. A development forum has been set up in order to address the issue of improving the parks facilities, which could include installing an all weather pitch and adding a secure children’s play area.

The Web Group aims to maintain an online resource of local information both for the local community and for people anywhere with an interest in the area. The website developed by the Group covers a broad range of topics relating to the local area, its history, topography, environment, economic and social life. The Group welcomes new members who share its aims, and particularly encourages local groups to participate in the maintenance of their own information online.

The Trust aims to improve the amenity and quality of life of the people of Garelochhead, Portincaple and the surrounding area. All members of the local community are invited to join the Trust and have an input to its activities. Public meetings are held regularly and there are a number of sub-groups dealing with specific activities.

The trust was established in 2003 to work with and for the communities of Rosneath and Clynder to promote postive change in a number of key areas. Current interests include improving childrens' play experience,enhancing local green spaces and the village centre of Rosneath.
